Chicago Pack Expo 2008, with Wapo in attendance

PACK EXPO International will focus on the latest developments in packaging technology and will showcase exhibitors' state-of-the-art advances in packaging machinery, converting machinery, materials, packages and containers, and components. The most prominent companies in the industry will be exhibiting and making product introductions at the show. CONTAINERS & MATERIALS

The Containers & Materials Pavilion brings machinery and materials together in one place for 33% of PACK EXPO attendees that say they come to see the latest in paperboard, glass, metal, plastic and flexible packaging. RFID PAVILION
The RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) Pavilion will highlight solutions that meet the requirements of the entire supply chain. Included in the exhibits will be technologies to upgrade conventional lines into RFID-enabled packaging lines capable of applying multipack, case and pallet tags online; as well as advances designed to verify the presence of tags; write to the tags; and validate data on the tags.

BRAND PROTECTION CENTER
This pavilion will focus on packaging initiatives and technologies against bioterrorism, package tampering, counterfeiting and product adulteration. Visit packaging security exhibits from technology and service providers, as well as government stakeholders.

CONTRACT PACKAGING PAVILION

The prominence of contract packaging services in today's vibrant marketplace is recognized by this new attraction. The pavilion is a great starting point for assessing a project and exploring the many possible options provided.

Located in the new West Building at McCormick Place, PROCESS EXPO will focus on the newest developments in processing technology to meet the challenges faced by the industry's food, beverage and pharmaceutical manufacturers. PROCESS EXPO exhibitors will demonstrate equipment, products and service solutions in the bakery, beverage, confectionary, dairy, fruit and vegetable, ingredients and flavors, meat, pharmaceutical, prepared and snack food industries.

Visitors will come to see and purchase the latest in food processing equipment, systems and services. Every aspect of the supply chain will be represented, from ingredients and flavors to shipping. PROCESS EXPO is sponsored and produced by Food Processing Suppliers Association (FPSA).

Converting & Package Printing (CPP) EXPO
will be co-located with PACK EXPO International on the Lobby Level of Lakeside Center at McCormick Place. Reflecting the new market synergies of the package printing, converting, finishing machinery and supplies industries, CPP EXPO showcases the latest in package printing, coating, slitting and other state-of-the-art finishing processes. Over 6,000 converting professionals came to the 2006 EXPO in search of equipment, materials and services for streamlining operations and improving quality.
